“qi cha lun ming tian” (which literally means discussing about tomorrow over a tea session was a political forum successfully organised by Kwong Wah Yit Poh and and Han Chiang Ex-Pupils Association of Butterworth for the purpose of discussing the possible political development after Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak succeeded Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as the 6th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
The 4 topics discussed in the forum were (1) 3B by-elections and the formation of new cabinet; (2) the new cabinet and the future development of the country; (3) future development of the country and the formation expected from BN; (4) conclusion and Q & A session.
Panelists are Dr Thor Teong Gee of Gerakan, Eng Hiap Boon of MCA, Dr Oh Ei Sun, YB Teng Chang Kim of DAP and YB Tian Chua of PKR.
