Penang Gerakan strongly objects the statement made by Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s to replace Penang Barisan Nasional’s Chairman with an UMNO’s leader.

Penang Gerakan said the statement was made without considering the Barisan Nasional’s spirit, tradition and protocol.

Penang Gerakan urges all the component parties to work and cooperate closely to win the hearts and minds of the Penangites instead of making controversial and unconstructive comments at this juncture.
