The poll result shows that BN needs to redouble our efforts in pursuing major reforms to meet the needs and aspirations of the people.

Penang BN chairman Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon said that, BN also need to continue to listen to people’s views and take note of people’s perception.

Koh Tsu Koon who is also Gerakn National President, he said that a quick rough analysis showed that non-Malay support for BN remained less than 30%, roughly similar to March 2008 General Elections. But it was an improvement over the less than 15% support in the parliamentary By-Election in August 2008.
