Gerakan helps students

Penang Gerakan through the Legal and Human Rights Bureau has been assisting students in this matter. So far, 4 students, of which 3 are Chinese and 1 Indian have approached the party with copies of their application. Being a multiracial party, Gerakan will do our utmost best to assist these and other student if in need.

First and foremost, I wish to thank Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib for extending JPA scholarships to all races based on merit. It is a timely move to prove that this Government is truly in keeping with its 1Malaysia concept. With a minimum score of 9 A+’s for the SPM exam, students will be able to further in their tertiary education irrespective of race.
