The Penang Barisan Nasional Working Committee has been going to the ground meeting the people and looking into their woes since it was set up about two years ago.
Penang Barisan Nasional information head Dato’ Dr Loga Balan Mohan said today that the working committee has been working closely as a cohesive force to interact with the people and help solve whatever problems.
The committee, comprising Penang MCA chief Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen, Penang Umno chief Dato’ Zainal Abidin Osman, Penang MIC chief Senator Datuk P.Subbiayah and Penang PPP chief Dato’ Dr Loga, is headed by Penang Gerakan chief, Dato’ Dr Teng Hock Nan.
“This is what the Penang Barisan Nasional is doing. We have been meeting regularly to discuss issues and problems affecting the people,” he said in a press statement.
“So far, we have received good response and feedback from the people. We are determined to work hard for the people,” he added.
On a call by Nibong Tebal MP Tan Tee Beng for the removal of Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon as minister and Gerakan president, Loga said: “It is an internal BN matter. We in BN will know what to do.”
