Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (PGRM) calls for the government to set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to investigate the sex clip which was alleged to involve Party Keadilan’s de facto leader, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Gerakan Vice President Datuk Mah Siew Keong said, Anwar has made a police report and Dr Wan Azizah has responded to the media that the man in the video is not her husband. Having two different sets of facts lying in front of us, we will have to find out who the man in the video is, who the culprit behind the scene was, who recorded the video and whether there is a mastermind behind it. All these are crucial to determine the truth and to be fair to all parties.

Datuk Mah also said, “We believe that the public needs to know the truth because Anwar is the leader of the Opposition party and the outcome of the investigation would determine his credibility as a politician. Besides, now that the video is uploaded online, it is viewed world wide, we must have complete and thorough investigation in order to demonstrate transparency of our government.”
