Seminar: Freedom of Religion

Penang Gerakan Legal and Human Right’s Bureau, is organizing a human right’s seminar on freedom of religion on May 20, 2010 (Thursday), 7.30pm at its headquarters.

The speakers are from the Legal and Human Right’s Bureau will discuss the following topics:

  • What is the freedom of religion
  • The conflicts between Syariah Law and Civil Law
  • Is apostate forgivable
  • The story of family torn apart
  • The story of a widow who cannot grieve
  • The seminar will end with an open forum, titled “Is there a freedom of religion in Malaysia?”
