Penang Gerakan will hold Chinese New Year Open House from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Feb 15, the second day of the Chinese Lunar Calendar, at its headquarters, 139 Macalister Road.

Besides food and drinks, there will be a choir performance, a lion dance display and “tossing the yee sang”.

Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon and Penang Gerakan chairman Dato’ Dr Teng Hock Nan will be present. All Barisan Nasional component parties leaders, MPs, State Assemblymen and members have been invited.

About 100 orphans and senior citizens from an orphanage and an old folk’s home, respectively, will be presented with ang pow to celebrate the auspicious occasion.
