Penang BN committee and SMJK Jit Sin School Board had a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, who is also the Minister of Education, Tan Sri Muhyddin Yassin at the Parliament.

At this meeting, which was arranged by Penang BN Chairman Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon, the DPM approved a new branch school of SMJK Jit Sin (branch) to be built in Seberang Perai Selatan.
