Gerakan Youth condemns violent politics, disregard of it is by political party or non-governmental organisations. “They should go through the correct channel of communications,” said Penang Gerakan Youth Chief Oh Tong Keong.

Oh issued a statement responding to the incident at “50 years Under ISA” event on Sunday 21st November 2010.

Oh reemphasized that Gerakan Youth condemns violent politics totally. “All matters have solutions, but violence is never one of them,” he said.

Oh contacted Penang UMNO Youth chief Norman. “Gerakan Youth cannot accept the explanation that he is at the incident in capacity of an NGO,” said Oh.

“Norman is accounted for, regardless of him being at the event as Penang Umno Youth chief or in capacity of any NGO,” added Oh.
