Malam Perpaduan 1Malaysia Tanjung Bunga was held in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations on February 27. 700 local residents attended the dinner at Balai Rakyat Tanjung Bunga.

The dinner was graced by Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department who was formerly the state assemblyman for Tanjung Bunga. A reunion dinner it is, as Tan Sri Dr Koh mentioned in his speech, is celebrated with greeting and hand shaking with friends from every table.

The dinner organised by Hng Chee Wey, Bukit Bendera Parliament Coordinator and Goh Yew Jin, Tanjung Bunga DUN Coordinator received strong support from local residents, as well as party leaders. Among attended are Dato’ Seri Chia Kwang Chye, Teng Chang Yeow, Dato’ Dr. Teng Hock Nan, Ong Thean Lye and other coordinators.
