Malaysia, Penang & Gerakan lost a great statesman & visionary.

Tun Dr Lim who set up the 1st Free Trade Zone to attract electronics MNCs to invest in Penang is rightly the Father of Industrialisation for Malaysia. He was also one of the founding fathers of the nation, having participated actively in the process of discussion on the draft Federal Constitution.

Gerakan members and I are very saddened to have lost our most respected founder who steadfastly championed the cause of all Malaysians.
