Just Get The Job Done

I was having lunch with friends. The appointment of Tan Sri’ Dr. Koh Tsu Koon as a Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department was the table topic.
Well, none of us have doubts about the credibility and competency that he possesses. But, we think he needs a little bit more of boldness and decisively, in discharging his ministerial role.
Although some of us questioned the way he got the appointment, when some claimed he had eaten his words, and some said he had it through the back door.
Seriously, I do not think he should take offense with these negative comments, since he had accepted the appointment anywhere. Further, I am not interested about his explanations, and the more he explained it shown his unsure.
Come’ on, that’s not the Dr. Koh whom I used to know. He used to be confident with his decision. He should stop explaining but just get the job done.
And, don’t act like Lim Guan Eng, who is keen on getting the media and public exposure rather do the right thing or do the thing right.
I am more concerned and interested to know, on how Dr. Koh is going to set his own key performance index. He needs to lead by example.
I have no advice for Dr. Koh, except reminding him about the slogan for Nike, “Just do it!”
Actions speak louder than words.
Just get the job done, my dear Dr. Koh.
