In its move to reflect Gerakan’s ideology as a multiracial political party, Penang Gerakan will form at least one new “1 Malaysia” branch in each constituent, in the coming 3 to 6 months.

“A multiracial political party should be reflected by not only the ideology but its physical memberships. Gerakan’s ideology is multiracial, but our members are majority Chinese ethnic origin,” added Sdra Dr Teng Hock Nan. Sdra Dr Teng also calls for Malaysians above 18 year old who support multiracial politics to join Gerakan.

Penang Gerakan is committed to increase members of all ethnic origins in not only new branches, but also existing branches. Interested individuals may call party headquarters at 04-2292724.
