“I appeal to the Chief Minister to be fair to the people of Penang , regardless of race,” Muhyiddin calls the state government to give opportunities to do business in the interest of the people’s economic development.

He also pointed out that the federal government has take “extraordinary measures” to implement plans like the Government Transformation Programme (GTP). “Although the initiative is taken by the federal government, no state can be said to be excluded, and that is not benefiting from this development,” he added.

Muhyiddin disagrees that Penang is not benefiting from what the federal government is doing. “That is not correct,” he said.
