Salam bahagia.
Seperti apa yang telah dimaklumkan, Jawatankuasa Kerja Pusat telah bermesyuarat pada 19 Jun 2009 dan memutuskan bahawa keahlian Naib Presiden Saudara Huan Cheng Guan akan digantung selama 3 tahun.
Walaupun begitu, Saudara Huan Cheng Guan akan diberikan masa sebanyak 14 hari, mulai 20 Jun 2009, untuk merujuk dan merayu keputusan Jawatankuasa Kerja Pusat kepada Jawatankuasa Pusat.
Oleh itu, saudara-saudari adalah dinasihati bertenang dan bersikap rasional, khususnya pada ketika ini. Sebarang kenyataan yang tidak bersesuaian, bahkan sokongan atau bertentangan, akan membawa kesan negatif dan memprejudiskan peluang rayaun Saudara Huan Cheng Guan di Jawatankuasa Pusat.
Pada masa yang sama, barisan pimpinan Gerakan Pulau Pinang adalah prihatin terhadap komen-komen yang disuarakan oleh pemimpin-pemimpin tempatan dan golongan akar umbi.
Komen-komen ini akan dijawap dan dibalas oleh barisan pimpinan pada masa yang sesuai, supaya ia tidak akan memprejudiskan rayaun Saudara Huan Cheng Guan.

Oh Tong Keong your gerakan penang youth chief also openly made media statement condemning the 3 years suspension of Huan Cheng Guan.
I think it is time for people to speak up.

when hv scandal or any bad things, party gerakan and its useless leader just know to ask their members keep their mouth shut, this is gerakan way of democracy.
They are the grass root member, if they dont voice up, who will?? Order to ask memeber shut up is from those leader or mastermind who hv the personal interest behind this case, to paralyse Huan and his supporter.
Gerakan is really no cure already.

What is your problem? Is it your girl friend dump you so you need to be a mad dog here to get other’s attention?
Obviously your Bahasa Melayu got problem. When people said don’t make unnecessary comments which will prejudice the chances of appeal, then just be with it.
I am doubt you are anti-Huan’s supporter. You purposely want to instigate and provoke others to make more comments, until the Central Committee members are angry on Huan, and then made him been expelled.

P/S : i not gerakan member and not Huan supporter or anti Huan supporter. I dont f@#k care Huan kena 3 years or expel from party. I just wan to show and prove that gerakan is not democracy by asking their member to shut up when issue arise and will not be a good government, bcos it will ask the rakyat to shut up when got issue or scandal happen.
Dont call yr party democracy anymore, cheat its members and rakyat only. Even racist and corrupted party like UMNO also hv better room for their member to voice out their concern.

We advice our members to ‘stay calm and be rational’.
We also reiterate that unnecessary statements and utterances, may jeopardize the possible appeal of Saudara Huan.
If anyone construe this as a ‘gag order’, then we reiterate this is an individual view of the commentators and this does not represent the view of the Editorial Board.

Dear Gerakan blog editor Clement Ong,
why this blog allow their member for such bad word and personal attack. Is there any way under your administration to stop or bar this kind of bad word, personal attack and abuse of freedom of speech in future.
Obviously your member is getting out of control already, if your blog no action taken, it will tarnish your blog and also your party image even though you stated member individual view doesn’t represent party view.

Be calm, be calm = shut your mouth.
This is the message the leaders trying to bring us. Well why 14 day appeal when the suspension was not done according to the party constitution?! You dont call a person to hear their part of story and just suspend them. Be realistic la saudara. The leaders are treating grassroot leaders as dogs. We need to convince the rakyat and put in our effort. But the top level leaders are killing raising young leaders. . . Enough of asking us to be clam = shutting up our mouth!

It is sad to see the attitude of gerakan leaders like this.
The worst one is that some of our own party leaders are back stabing each other. As Huan said in the press, our own party youth chief Lim si pin is making accusation without proof agaist Huan in CWC. Worse still Huan was not there. Come on….si pin, Huan was vice ketua pemuda last when u were deputy last time.
And to our party adviser, Tun Lim Keng Yaik, how can we accept your son as future party president? Please teach him to have some moral before trying to back stab people. Even if want to stab, please stab openly. Not when Huan is not in CWC. Chicken lady!!!

In Democratic Politics means to fight and to stronghold one’s belief and principle..be calm,compromise, shut up and just follow instruction or order only happen in Military. I think Gerakan tends to change its party to a military concept political body.

I just hope for the best. I think if i want to comment, i rather comment somethings positive or to that effect. If i critise, i rather criticise constructively. Everyone will appreciate a builder rather than a destroyer. Well, this is what i meant. To remain quiet or to speak up - both to this effect.
Well, i guess its everyone right to remain silent or to speak up! I guess, others can also sense our real motive behind our words and deeds.
One thing i realise, is whatever struggle we are in, if we put ourselves above the things we struggle for, then we are bound to get into trouble. A true leader will be tested in the course of his struggle and the test will expose who we really are. Are we the person we say we are or otherwise. This is true in whatever fields we are in. Be it politic, religion or just something we trully believe in. Is only after we past the test then can we lead others to where we are and achieve our dream. I think our VP, Huan is passing thru a great test in his struggle and i do pray and hope that he will be enlighten to see what he must and must not do so that he can rise again in the near future. Believe me , i do hope the best for him. be assured, I am not who’s guy but i am our party’s guy! Penang Gerakan cannot afford this split in view of next election. If party come first in our heart, what is us to compare to our party?

who care CWC,not appointed also can sit inside, appointed but not calling for hearing, go lah for punished 30 years, who care? Rakyat now also don’t care about,only the so call top leader care. Bcos if loss all also nevermind, still got chance to be SENATOR and go ‘kao tao’ to be Minister. After that the Wong Tai Zhi also can take over if KTK terms is finished. The party just like chess, KTK just like a soldier, 1 term only for KTK, next 1 is CKY also 1 term, than following all belong to the Lim family. If you & i not yet die just wait & see. we must do our best to make sure the Lim family will not be allowed to treat gerakan like their own family business.
I suggest we start a campaign to make sure “the prince” is booted out in the next party election, both in youth as well as main body. He is not contributing to the party even as the youth chief.
Just sit down like a prince only!!!

KTK is no better then LKY also with his kind of character, he is more suitable to be a professor in Univ rather in politic arena.
He only know to kow-tow and begging to his master only, how to expect he to lead a party and all its members. Dont mention fight for rakyat rights and interest. Dont forget, he leads penang gerakan to total wipe out with his kind of attitude that is not firm and not steady. Cant even decide a candidate for Penang CM before the election until Pak Lah openly say if he cant decide, let me decide on national TV news. He just sit there n pretend donno and nothing happen. Those video clip still available on youtube.
Penang people are so fed up with his way and voted him out even all the press/media image him as Mr.Nice Guy or Mr.Clean. He lost so much (near 10k votes) to an unknown indian DAP member that time. Lost with so much humiliation as a penang gerakan chief.
I will never forget that moment he sit there alone without any members or supporters facing the press, pretending want to cry and proudly say he will resign as responsible for the great defeat at Bkt. Tamun center and now he is sitting on his minister chair in putera jaya.
This is politic at the highest level…haha, i was wrong about u KTK !! My apology…

how come tun lim chong eu got no family member to continue his legacy in gerakan? i don’t seem to hear any of his family member in active gerakan. This is very sad for gerakan.

Tun Lim is a fair old man, he knows clearly the party he form is not his own legacy. While his successor LKY think other wise…must let his son LSP inherit.
Gerakan now is not the same Gerakan during Tun Lim era. It has become UMNO running dog since LKY and KTK taking over.
The party will reflect how its leader’s leadership.
It is clearly that KTK is bringing Gerakan to an end.

Gerakan is in a dilemma, its current presence is a result of different styles of political movement such as elite-based, patronage, syncretic or middle ground. Such will not last, thus it is high time to be different but it’s always easy said than done. A common goal/objective, to strive as a non-sectarian party to start the ball rolling again, but then again a dynamic, selfless and visionary leader is required. Sadly no one yet. It will remain stagnant for the next few years…
