Dr. Teng Hock Nan refers to the news reporting Karpal Singh strongly objected Islamic state concept, making him the only insightful man in Pakatan Rakyat. “Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng should follow the steps of Karpaland make a stand on islamic states” said Dr. Teng.

“Lim Guan Eng must make a stand or accept that DAP supports PAS for Islamic state and Hudud law,” added Sdra. Dr Teng at his speech during the Nibong Tebal Division AGM on 22 August 2010. Gerakan continues watching the development and government policies of Penang, despite losing the 308 election.

Dr Lim Boon Han urge the government scholarships to be more transparent and fairer when selecting its recipients. “Announce the names and courses in mass media for the people’s knowledge,” added Dr. Lim while he thinks meritocracy and fairness to all ethnic origins meets the concept of “1 Malaysia”.
