《直言不讳》 粗陋的民调

民联槟州政府喜欢进行网络民意调查，然后根据民调结果做出决定。表面上看来，这是槟州政府重视人民意见的一种表现。然而，民调也有其黑暗面，如果不谨慎处理，分分钟可能被有心人操控民调结果，制造假民意。
针对乔治市中文路牌简繁之爭，民联槟州政府展开了一项网络民意调查，让人民上网投票决定中文路牌应使用简化字还是繁体字。投票结果显示大部份投票者支持使用繁体字，槟州政府於是决定將所有中文路牌改为繁体字。
我们是不是可以做出结论，指大多数槟城人支持繁体字呢？或说这是槟城的民意？当然不能。如果单以这项民调结果而轻易做出这种结论是有问题的，因为这项民调是通过网上进行，並非每个人民都要作答，而且也不是抽样式去访问人民，民调结果距离所谓的民意还有一段很大的距离。
有几个问题可能影响民调的代表性，如投票者是不是槟城人、投票者人数、或者投票过程可能被有心人操控等等，例如在网上投票期间，坊间曾流传一则要求留台生上网投票支持繁体字的简讯。
我並不是说州政府进行民调收集民意不好，只是粗陋的民调有时候不但无法表达民意，更甚的是，粗陋的民调很容易被有心人操控，然后把它当成是槟州人民的民意。
除了中文路牌简繁之爭的民调外，槟州政府还通过网络投票方式，来决定槟州政府所要推销的美食、土产以及必访景点。这作法会不会被有心人如商家利用，通过有计划性的上网投票，操控民调结果，然后把它当成槟州的“民意“呢？我想这是我们需要关注的问题。

民聯政府的民調做上癮了，動不動什麼事情都來民調一番。
有關繁簡路牌的民調，當時簡體支持者因為支持率落後一大截，就通過媒體表示對民調的不滿，懷疑有人”灌水”之類的。若是這樣，要民調來干嘛？

如果州政府只以网站投票方式做为代表槟州民意，去决定其政策(如路牌应以繁或简体中文)，那简直是如雾里看花，马虎敷衍的荒谬作法！这正好暴露出现州政府极度缺乏办事能力和行政经验！
实际上，除了台湾与香港外，包括中国大陆与我国在里的世界各地华人，都使用简体中文。联合国也己已经决定从2008年起，一切公文，只使用简体中文！现在，中国经济和国力，突飞猛进，在国际上的影响力，越来越大，槟州政府不是口口声声，要吸引大批的中国游客来槟观光的吗？那为何不选择简体中文？

u all bunch of Gelakan jokers only know to hamtam current administration no matter what they do, right or wrong. I believe if current administration decided to use 简体, u all bunch of jokers also will write the same article here to complaint and make noise that u all gelakan members sendiri feel song n shoik here and follow by bunch of brainless commenters to foolishly and blindly support what the writer say.
Sometimes i so pity u those gelakan folks after loose all in penang, u all r totally political bankrupt and lost your direction and vision. Now as a fail opposition, only blindly hamtam current administration no matter what they do, as long they do something for rakyat penang, u all will make silly noice n hamtam without proper and solid reason, just hamtam for the sake of hamtam, worry rakyat donno penang gelakan exist, gelakan hv turns to clown party which make up from bunch of clown or jokers.

U r gelakan folks TOTALLY hv no rights to complaint, make noise on penang chinese road name issue. During gelakan administration for past 30 years, not even a single chinese road name was install in penang. After PR/DAP administration take over, all this have become reality in just one year. After they hv done most penang folks long waiting for, u all bunch of clown so shamelessly want to cari pasal and find bone inside an egg. CANT U ALL FEEL SHAME?
DONT EVER talk about chinese road name again, u bunch of clown not qualify to discuss this matter. All the penang folks and rakyat hv the rights but not gelakan. SHAMLESS !!!

u may not like what i commented about your party but what i said is truth and facts !! I come here is not for u to praise me on how nice i talk with beautiful words and phrases and u can keep on with yr personal attack and insult, i dont border. I talk n comments about your lame leader and party respectively from rakyat point of view and opinion. If u cant take it, thats means u all still in the stage of denial and lost touch with the rakyat. U either hv 2 choices, wake up or keep on dreaming. Is totally up to u.
